Molded Interiors
provide a true custom design that is designed
specifically to conform to your product. All
design, tooling and molding is performed in our
facilities to ensure accuracy, speed and lowest
cost. These feature double-wall molded
construction formed into a single piece (rather
than just an insert), and use our company's
modular exteriors so sizes and depths are
tailored to the product instead of restricted to
stock case sizes. Because they require molding
operations and mold tooling, longer lead times
of 4-6 weeks are typical.
Among the best uses for our Molded Interiors are
repetitive projects, heavier kits, and kits
requiring the most efficient use of space.
Molded Interiors can include characteristics
unique to your product such as special colors,
molded features like doors, stacking interlocks,
custom labels, or custom logo sizes. With molded
interiors, our customers do not need to invest
in the more costly exteriors, as PFC-owned
exteriors are provided at no cost for standard
exterior mold segments. And because PE is inert,
it will not absorb dirt or oils, and can be
easily cleaned. Molded Interiors represent the
core of our business, with in excess of 5,000
stock exterior/custom interior cases designed
since 1966. The double-wall case was invented at
Plastics Forming Co. by our company founder, and
has since been licensed to more than 20
